Kicked to the Curb: Butler Eagle Feature

6/9/2016

Vogel Disposal Service, Inc. was featured in the May 29, 2016 edition of the Butler Eagle. Ed Vogel spoke about TC Recycling, LLC's recycling process, the preparation for system upgrades, and how consumers can educate themselves about proper in-home recycling.

Ed advises that, when in doubt, you should put kitchen and household plastic and glass in the recycling bin. Non-recyclable materials are sorted out from the recyclable materials by quality control employees and a high-tech conveyor belt system. However, avoid putting non-recyclable materials and food waste in the recycling bin at any time.

Also, avoid putting your recyclables in bags as bags slow down the sorting process. Vogel Disposal Services offers sturdy, lidded recycling containers available for our customers. These containers store up to 95 gallons or recyclables and make the process easier for everyone involved.

After being sorted, the recyclable materials are condensed into bales and processed for resale. TC Recycling, LLC is slated for equipment upgrades this year. The new equipment will improve the efficiency of recyclable processing.
