Vogel Disposal Service offers employees the following types of benefits:
1. Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
2. Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the  employee’s regular schedule.

Auto CAD Engineer
Evans City, PA
This position reports to a Professional Engineer.
Description
The CAD Technician will be responsible for preparation of technical drawings to help design and construct solid waste facilities using computer-aided design (CAD) software applications such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, and SolidWorks.
The position will be located at 308 Seneca Lane, Evans City, PA 16033, but will require travel to various facilities. No overnight travel required. Employee will be reimbursed for mileage incurred as a result of required travel.
Responsibilities
• Create technical drawings to aid in the design and construction of solid waste and other facilities or projects as deemed appropriate by the Company.
• Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications.
• Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.
• Ensure all drawings are reviewed, accurate, and meet industry standards.
• Research and write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates.
• Maintain an electronic filing system of all drawings according to Company Policy.
• Estimate time and costs required to complete projects.
Job Requirements
• Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design, Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Surveying Engineering, or related field; 3 years of experience or training preferred.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar software to prepare technical drawings efficiently and in accordance with applicable engineering practices and industry standards.
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings with strong attention to detail to assure accuracy of final product.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals.
• Ability to conduct visual inspection of facilities and negotiate uneven and rough terrain in varying weather conditions.
• Work independently, prioritize work, coordinate activities, and meet critical deadlines; identify and effectively handle multiple activities and resources necessary to perform job assignments; organize, process, and evaluate data and ideas to make effective decisions and develop appropriate solutions; and use sound judgment and personal initiative to accomplish assignments.
• Work cooperatively with others and build and maintain constructive relationships with those encountered during the course of work, including responding effectively and tactfully to hostility, confusion, or concern expressed by others; and contribute to group efforts with ideas and suggestions.
• Represent the Company in a positive and professional manner in all engagements with employees, the public, and regulatory agencies.
• Follow instructions of supervisor.
• Foster a harassment-free workplace and adhere to all corporate policies.
Special Requirements
• Employee must adhere to all site safety rules and regulations. Employee will be asked to provide their own safety shoes.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
