Join Us To Touch a Vogel Truck in both Zelienople and Sarver

Does your child get excited to see our trucks roll by on trash day? This is their chance to get up close and personal with a famous Vogel garbage truck.

Zelienople Event

Join us from 11 AM to 2 PM, and head over to Glade Run Lutheran Services in Zelienople, PA for their Touch-a-Truck event. It’ll be a day packed with excitement, discovery, and community fun!

  • Time: 11 AM to 2 PM (Sensory friendly quiet time is from 11 AM to 11:30 AM)
  • Address: Glade Run, 30 Glade Run Drive, Zelienople, PA

This free event is the perfect chance for kids (and adults, let’s be honest) to see, touch, explore, and honk their way through a fascinating lineup of trucks, vehicles, and equipment. You’ll get to see a variety of work trucks and vehicles including one of our very own trash trucks.

We’re excited to give kids a close-up look at the big rigs that keep our neighborhoods clean and running smoothly. It’s a great way to spark curiosity and teach kids about the important roles these vehicles — and the people who operate them — play in our daily lives.

Here are some event highlights that you can enjoy:

  • Explore a variety of vehicles up close
  • Meet live animals
  • Enjoy tasty treats from the Snack Shack
  • Enter to win exciting raffles
  • Sensory-friendly quiet time from 11 to 11:30 AM (no loud noises or horns)

Not only is it a day of fun, but it's also for a great cause; all proceeds benefit individuals served through Glade Run’s mental health programs. Your attendance helps make a difference in the lives of those in our community.

Sarver Event

Join us from 12 PM to 4 PM at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA for the Revved for Health: Health & Safety Fair hosted by Buffalo Elementary PTO! It’s a day full of exciting vehicles, helpful resources, and fun for the whole community.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, May 17th

  • Time: 12 PM to 4 PM (Sensory-friendly quiet hour is from 12 PM to 1 PM – no sirens, lights, or loud noises)

  • Address: Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Rd, Sarver, PA 16055

  • Admission: FREE!

This free, community-wide event features a Touch-a-Truck experience where kids (and adults!) can climb aboard, explore, and learn about a wide variety of unique vehicles and the essential jobs they support — including one of our very own Vogel Disposal garbage trucks!

We’re thrilled to give kids a hands-on look at the trucks that help keep our neighborhoods clean and running smoothly, while teaching them about the importance of environmental responsibility and public service.

Here are just some of the event highlights:


  • Monster trucks and race cars from Lernerville Speedway

  • Fire trucks, EMS vehicles, and police cruisers

  • USPS mail trucks, cement mixers, and 18-wheelers

  • Dump trucks, excavators, and an Army JLTV

  • Live demos, health resources, and community safety tips

  • Food trucks including Kona Ice, Del Vecchio Sausage, Sundae Drive Ice Cream, and more!

  • Sensory-Friendly Hour: 12 PM – 1 PM (no lights, horns, or sirens)
